“Providers and the people they support must be at the heart of solutions that reduce poverty and improve outcomes”
CCPS responds to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation’s newly published report on poverty in Scotland

“CCPS welcomes the publication of JRF’s Poverty in Scotland 2026 report. Its findings highlight the need for stronger action to reduce poverty, alongside sustainable investment in local services and support that help children, families and communities to thrive.
“As Scotland progresses conversations on public service reform, local governance and social care reform, CCPS believes providers and the people they support must be at the heart of solutions that reduce poverty and improve outcomes. We look forward to working with partners across government and civil society to help deliver that change.”
