P&P was invited to give written and verbal evidence to the Health and Sport Committee as part of the stage 1 scrutiny of the Social Care (Self-directed Support) (Scotland) Bill, 2012. P&P then supported two MSPs to propose a series of amendments at stages 2 and 3 of the Bill.
The Bill has now been passed by Parliament and is known as the Social Care (Self-directed Support) (Scotland) Act, 2013. The Act will commence in April 2014.
