Cosla (Convention of Local Authorities) has issued guidance to its members about the commissioning of social care services during the Covid-19 pandemic. It urges an acknowledgement of the financial pressures on care and support organisations as they deal with higher rates of staff absences as well as having to make swift adjustments to care packages.
