Guidance for supported housing and care at home 9th August 2021

In a letter at the end of last week the Scottish Government  states that although social distancing and the limits on the number of people meeting indoors have been lifted,  supported housing providers should continue to manage communal areas in line with specific guidance depending on the type of activity being undertaken.  This means  the requirement to identify a responsible person to ensure measures are taken in line with COVID-19 guidance in indoor public areas will continue.  The letter urges the continued  wearing of masks, good ventilation and  ongoing participation in test & protect.  The letter also points to areas of the Scottish Government’s website that bring together COVID-19 guidance relevant for care at home (including housing support) and for supported housing providers.
