Backing Young Britain Breakfast

Posted on Tuesday 23 February 2010

Breakfast For Empoyers
1 March 2010 at the Vue Cinema, Omni Centre, EDINBURGH

Backing Young Britain is a national campaign, bringing Government, business and other organisations together to create new opportunities for young people to help them through the recession.

At this breakfast employers and Ann McKechin MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Scotland, will discuss the real benefits to business that this campaign brings. She will outline the support and funding available and how Government can help you to provide opportunities to young people, whether through offering:

  • an apprenticeship
  • a job
  • experience of work.

The meeting will be facilitated by former Apprentice winner Tim Campbell, with contributions from a panel featuring local employers and experts.

Registration on the day will take place from 7:45am. The meeting will commence at 8:15am and is scheduled to finish at 9:00am, with opportunities to network afterwards with other local employers.
