We’d like to get to know you better so that we can send you the information that you want, in the way you want. We have composed a short questionnaire to help us find out more about you and your organisation.

Data protection

We will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will use the data you give us to send you information in the format you have requested. We may occasionally ask for your input on other workforce related issues, for example, we may ask you to take part in surveys. We may pass your details onto your local Social Services Learning Network.

We currently provide information to subscribers in a number of ways. Please let us know which of these you would like to receive.

E-bulletin – sent out by email on a monthly basis, the e-bulletin will have details of Workforce Unit news and events; joint events with other agencies; signposting to relevant topics and links to other key information sources.

Newsletter – sent out by email or print on a quarterly basis, the newsletter will have a different theme each quarter and will include advocacy and sharing practice linked to these themes.

Newsflashes – sent out by email on an occasional basis, newsflashes will contain important/breaking news or reminders that need to go out between e-bulletins.

Section 4 – Workforce Development Network

The Workforce Development Network has been established to provide the opportunity for its members to share ideas, knowledge and practice; to work together to influence change; provide input to policy and help respond to consultations. The Workforce Unit is keen to ensure a broad range of views are represented on the Network.
