About Providers & Personalisation
The programme has eight strands ranging from information provision through to face to face events. The programme is based on these principles
Online
- Resources and information
- Updates
- Online Community of Practice: a forum to share information, ask questions and post resources.
- DotComUnity: an accessible online database of care and support providers
Face to face
- Policy network seminars:bringing providers together to talk about national issues
- Practice exchange workshops: facilitating providers to share their expertise to address common challenges.
Projects
- Commissioning for Outcomes (in partnership with IRISS)
- Personalisation and the Workforce (University of Strathclyde)
Outcomes
The programme aims to make a difference to both policy and practice in personalisation and self-directed support
- Providers have a stronger voice in Self-Directed Support policy development and implementation. Policy is more effective where it is closely linked to practice and implementation is improved where policy is brought closer to frontline practice.
- Providers have the systems, skills and information needed to deliver more personalised services: More personalised services will increase choice and control for people receiving care and support.
