Voluntary Action Scotland (VAS) has published a new handbook for ‘Developing the Third Sector’s Role in Health and Social Care Integration‘. The resource is aimed at third sector interfaces but is relevant for the wider third sector interested in engaging with the new health and social care partnerships.
CCPS supported the drafting of parts of the handbook, including the section on strategic commissioning. The handbook is part of a programme of work funded by the Scottish Government to support the sector’s involvement in integration. VAS will be working with three local TSI areas to support the practical application of the handbook, which contains information and tools to support best practice in engagement and collaborative development of health and social care services.
