With the integration of health and social care third sector providers operate in a yet more complex environment of local and national policy; reducing resource and increasing demand. Recent changes to procurement legislation brings in new flexibility for collaborative processes but a significant shift in practice is yet to happen.
‘Commissioning in Context’ is a series of regional workshops on commissioning, procurement in the new landscape of health and social care integration. The workshop will also give an opportunity to discuss wider issues related to third sector sustainability and feedback on your experience of local commissioning, funding and procurement approaches.
The workshops are free and designed for organisations funded by, or in contact with, the Care, Support and Rights Division of the Scottish Government however there are some places available for other providers, intermediaries and local authority colleagues.
