CCPS publishes family support research

A group of CCPS members is collaborating on a project to explore what works in family support services, with the goal of encouraging greater commitment from children’s services planners, education authorities and the Scottish Government, to the importance of engagement with families.

We have produced two reports focusing on the views of families and recent academic research, respectively.  Key messages from both highlight the importance of relationships of trust and respect; flexibility and responsiveness in service design; practical support; collaboration and consistency.  Please get in touch with us if you would like to learn more about our ongoing work in this area.
