Training Providers
Below are links to organistions that sometimes provide training in housing support. The links to training providers are not confined to Scotland so you may find that some of the courses are only available in England or Wales.
- Chartered Institute of Housing provides training on all aspects of housing.
- Evaluation Support Scotland works with voluntary organisations and funders so they can measure the impact of their work.
- Inspiring Inclusion provides training events in order to make it more likely that people using care and support services "live rich and full lives and have their contribution welcomed and valued"
- Lemos and Crane organises seminars and conferences that bring together participants from many fields of public service - government, both local and central, social housing, social care, education and youth work, criminal justice, health and voluntary and community organisations.
- Positive Action in Housing (PAiH) is a minority ethnic-led charity working with Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities, Migrants, Refugees and others to provide advice, support and assistance, primarily around housing issues. PAIH offers training on a variety of subjects including diversity and equality.
- Sitra is an umbrella organisation committed to raising standards in the housing, care and support sector.
- Support Solutions is a West Midlands-based Supported Housing Management Consultancy and Training Agency with national scope. It specialises in Supporting People, Revenue Optimisation for supported housing, Tendering & Procurement, Oucomes Measurement, Local Area Agreements and general housing related support and care issues.
