Making the Link: the role of Housing Support within Local Housing Strategies

The Housing Support Enabling Unit worked with the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and the Scottish Housing Best Value Network to deliver a national forum that:
- Promoted the importance of housing support within the context of the Local Housing Strategy
- Examined LHS process and how they can engage with it
- Identified challenges associated with ensuring housing support is given appropriate consideration within local housing strategies

Highland Regional Meeting 20 November 2008
The HSEU and Highland Regional Council held a meeting in Inverness on 20 November 2008. The meeting allowed providers of housing support to come together to discuss matters of interest and hear updates from Stephen Sandham of the Scottish Government and The Highland Council.
