Housing Beyond 2021
The Scottish Government launched a discussion paper Housing Beyond 2021 setting out principles to guide the government’s future housing policy. This is being framed as a vision for how we want our homes and communities to look and feel like in 2040. The Unit, in its response, highlighted the important role that housing support and supported housing plays and acknowledged some of the challenges around increasing housing support capacity. You can view the Unit’s response to the paper here: Housing Beyond 2021 Discussion Paper.
There will be further opportunities to engage with the development of the policy throughout 2019.
