The Scottish Government has introduced new legislation to protect people from being harmed; The Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act.
Tell Someone is a resource pack, funded by the Scottish Government, which helps people to understand how the Act affects them and what they should do if they suspect harm is occurring to someone.
In partnership with the Private Care Sector Workforce Initiative, the Workforce Unit is delivering a training course for trainers regarding this on 2nd and 22nd February. This training is available to all Care Commission registered adult care services in Scotland across the voluntary sector.
Book now for this FREE event on the 2nd or 22nd of February for a unique
opportunity to receive guidance on the Adult Support and Protection Act
itself, training materials, exercises and video clips of scenarios for
discussion. It also contains information leaflets for users of
services, carers and for frontline staff.
