This is a meeting where potential candidates can set out what he/ she will do, if elected. This is your chance to ask questions and cross-examine the candidates, as well as getting ‘on record’ commitments from:
· John Mason MP / SNP - Scottish National Party
· Martin Donald / Conservative Party
· John Barrett MP / Liberal Democrats
· Richard Simpson MSP / Labour
A range of experts have also agreed to speak at the Forum, including Alan Miller (Chair of the Scottish Human Rights Commission), Donnie Lyons (Director of the Mental Welfare Commission), and Matthew Lancashire (Citizens Advice Scotland). Whatever your interests, you can customise your day to learn more about the topics that matter to you.
Attendance at this event is FREE for SAMH Members (there’s still time to join!) and costs just £45 for non-members. A buffet lunch will also be provided. All you need to do is complete a booking form and return it to SAMH.
