The aim of the conference is to enable lead NHS Clinicians, Managers, Third Sector and Local Authority services to:
• Discuss NES proposals for future plans for education and training to support workforce development
• To consider these proposals in the context of the wider national initiatives that are supporting developments in health support to people with a learning disability across Scotland
• To network with a wide range of stakeholders from across Scotland with a focus on workforce and practice development
• Develop a UK understanding of workforce changes and learning disability
The conference will combine presentations and workshops.
