The day offers an opportunity to:
- Increase your core knowledge of the Scottish Adult Criminal Justice System and its processes
- Increase your awareness and understanding of core values across the voluntary sector
- Increase your awareness and understanding of the key areas of justice policy and practice in Scotland.
The second event in this year’s CJVSF Collaborative Induction Training programme (Introduction to Adult Justice) is now open for bookings. Please contact us for more details about how to book a place.
The Collaborative Induction sessions are aimed at staff who are new to working in justice. They are open to anyone working for a CJVSF member organisation so please share this opportunity around your organisation with colleagues who might be interested. To be fair to all members, we do ask that bookings are limited to two per organisation in the first instance (If you have additional staff that would be interested in attending, please let us know and we can add them to the waiting list. Any remaining places will then be allocated across member organisations closer to the time).
The training has been collaboratively developed by CJVSF members and Community Justice Scotland and this year will be delivered by staff from CJS, Sacro and Venture Trust.
The training will be interactive and will provide an opportunity to reflect on your own role in supporting people affected by the adult justice system.
